Betsy is an accomplished photographer and devoted pet owner. Her background is in nature, macro and graphic photography. She has fulfilled her dream of combining her love of photography with her love of animals and has created a lifestyle pet photography business that provides "pet parents" with wonderful photos of their best friend in the environment where they feel most comfortable - their home.
Years ago as a new cat owner, Betsy took "Sebastian" to a photography studio for a photo session. The experience was not pleasant for Betsy or Sebastian. He did not do well in the car and was terrified of the studio, the lights, and the confined space. As a result, his photos do not capture his sweet personality. In lifestyle pet photography, the pet is photographed doing what he/she loves best - be it playing with their favorite toy, napping on a windowsill in the sun, romping in the yard, or interacting with their owner. The photo session is designed to be both fun and memorable.
